Carrying the infants

Thai Airways accepts on board infants who are older than 7 days from the date of birth. A child should be absolutely healthy, as the air travel can have negative effect on child’s health in this age. A ticket for infant (without seat) can be issued if the child is under 2 years old at the moment when travel commences.

In order to make the flight for passengers with infants more comfortable and pleasant Thai Airways provides a baby basket on board (upon request) on condition that the child is not older than 6 months, the weight is not more than 10 kg, and height — 67 см. The seats equipped with fastenings for these cots are located in the first rows of the cabins. Number of baby baskets is limited therefore we strongly recommend to request this service beforehand (no less than 48 hours before the travel date). This service is provided free of charge and can be offered on international flights only. We pay your attention to the fact that in case of the date or service class change you need to request for the cot again.
