Suvarnabhumi — Bangkok International Airport

Bangkok International Airport — Suvarnabhumi — is a real wonder! Being one of the largest airports in Asia it consists of only one terminal. This allows passengers to change the flight without leaving the airport in a minimum possible time.

Suvarnabhumi Airport was officially opened on September 28, 2006 . The airport covers an approximate area of 8,000 acres. Located at Km.15 on the east-bound Bangna-Trat Highway in Bang Phli District of Samut Prakarn province, the airport is about 25 kms (40-60 minutes) from Bangkok's downtown.

The Passenger Terminal Complex (PTC)

The PTC has 10 entrance gates accessed by 2 roads which are Inner Curb and Outer Curb. It is combined with 7 connected concourses, annotated as A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. A and B concourses are for domestic flights and the others are for international flights. Passengers service for Domestic and International passengers are handled under the same roof.

2nd Floor Arrivals, Transfer Service Counter, Baggage Claim, Immigration, Customs, Counters for Transportation and Accommodation
3rd Floor Meeting and Greeting Gallery, Parking Building Access
4th Floor Departures, Customer Service Center , Ticketing Offices, Immigration, Customs
5th Floor THAI and Star Alliance Offices
6th Floor Restaurants
7th Floor Observation Deck
