Not with standing the fact that the Government introduced state of emergency in some regions — this step is a security measure allowing the Government to provide security for citizens and tourists with maximum effectiveness.

Living conditions in all the regions are within the norm for local people and for tourists. Both city airports (Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang) are operating as normal. All other international and domestic airports in Thailand remain fully operational.

This unstable political situation should not affect tourists if they comply with precaution measures and avoid potentially risky territories.

Any way notwithstanding quite calm situation, TAT recommends tourists to turn to specialists for planning individual trips in this area; special governmental consuls are ready to answer any tourists’ questions providing true and adequate information about the situation.
